Ferdy Santiago, MD

Dr. Santiago is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist serving patients in Naples, Florida. He is also Board-certified in internal medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network in Allentown, PA, and subsequently completed a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. During his fellowship, he was selected to participate in the American Society of Hematology Advocacy Leadership Institute in Washington, DC. Originally from New Jersey, he has been taking care of patients in Naples since 2015. He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Santiago has expertise in treating multiple types of cancer, including lung cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, and breast cancer. Additionally, he has extensive experience in both benign and malignant hematologic disorders and blood and bone marrow cancers. Dr. Santiago has a deep understanding of the life changing nature of a cancer diagnosis – he was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma as a teenager and underwent treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. As a cancer survivor himself, he has a unique perspective regarding cancer care that he brings to his practice. He is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to continuing to help patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.
