Michelle is a Board-certified nurse practitioner. She was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons College in 2018. Michelle is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. She has provided care to hematology and oncology patients in both the outpatient and the inpatient settings in Pinellas County since 2006, first as a registered nurse and then as a head nurse.
Michelle developed a passion for providing quality patient care, especially in hematology and oncology, after several family members were diagnosed with cancer. Her approach to patient care is to actively listen to each of her patient’s questions and concerns to formulate an individualized plan of care that optimizes their quality of life. Michelle is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology. She has also served as an adjunct professor for the health sciences department in the Florida College System since 2010. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling and reading.
