Valerie is a Board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in oncology and hematology. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration from Chamberlain University and has been caring for cancer patients since 2017.
A native Floridian, Valerie was inspired to pursue a career in oncology after helping her mother, a cancer survivor, through her care and recovery.
Fluent in Spanish, Valerie is known for her excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with patients. She provides individualized, compassionate care that prioritizes patients’ personal goals, ensuring they feel loved, safe, appreciated, and supported throughout their cancer journey.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her five-year-old Goldendoodle, doing CrossFit, spending time with her siblings and nieces and nephews, and reading.
